Crazie K!d AnonYmous Review
Welcome to the first album review by Mr. 6 Wheels! This is a first of many, depending on the amount of interaction- so let’s get those likes/shares/comments going. Today I’ll be reviewing the street album “Taking Over the Throne” by Crazie K!d AnonYmous and Fatman Elite. Crazie K!D AnonYmouS is a Philly based poet/MC. Been rapping since 12. Opened up for such artist Reef the Lost Cauze, Termanology, Crooked-I, and Planet Asia. Fatman Elite is a MC/Producer/Engineer also based out of Philly and kicking rhymes all the while working hard in the background developing dope production for the team. Da ILL is a name developed by well-known Philly 2 time Philly hip-hop award winning Mixtape DJ, DJ NoPhrillz. He said CKA & Fatman Elite "Put Da ILL in Philly”. Now let’s listen to them take over the throne.
Taking Over the Throne is a hot 16 where AnonYmous and Fatman Elite announce their intentions to take over the music game. Cliques Destroyed is some fire bars over the “My Clique” instrumental. “They’re all mini-mes and I’m Austin with the powers.” If you love wordplay, you’ll love this track. Choice Is Yours is a classic freestyle over “The Choice Is Yours” by Black Sheep and they straight MURDERED IT! Chinese Food is a dope track about dinner track. Da Ill is the illest track on the whole tape (no pun intended) so many dope punch lines. Lyrical Weaponry is dope as hell and has the bars for anybody who likes lyrics. City Symphony is more bars coming at ya- “Next up-soon to be.” Danger is dope- “Ahead of the clock and never in the time zone” PSP was the dopest ending track to an album I’ve heard in a while. Salute Philly!
I give the album a perfect 10 out of ten-killer production and killer bars. These guys have a bright future ahead of them. My favorite track is Da Ill. My favorite lines are between “Cut off your hand- kiss what ring?” “I’m funky and Fresh-all you have to do is pick a smell.” You can listen to the whole album here http://craziekidanonymous.bandcamp.com/releases Let me know what you think of this classic street album in the comments below.
